MEMSIC MMC3416xPJ 3-axis Magnetic(地磁的) Sensors(传感器)
MEMSIC MMC3416xPJ 3-axis Magnetic Sensors feature(特色) on-chip signal processing and integrated(完整) I2C bus. The device(装置) can be connected directly to a microprocessor(微处理器), eliminating(消除) the need for A/D converters(转变) or timing resources.
The MMC3416xPJ can measure magnetic fields within the full scale(规模) range of ±16 Gauss (G), with 0.5mG/2mG per LSB resolution(分辨率) for 16/14 bits operation mode and 1.5mG total RMS noise level, enabling heading accuracy(精确度) of 1º in electronic compass(指南针) applications. An integrated SET/RESET function provides for the elimination(消除) of error due to Null Field output(输出) change with temperature. In addition, it clears the sensors of any residual(剩余的) magnetic polarization(极化) resulting from exposure(暴露) to strong external(外部的) magnets(磁铁). The SET/RESET function can be performed for each measurement(测量) or periodically(定期地) based on the application requirements.

MMC3416PJ-B Prototyping(样机研究) Board provides a convenient and easy way to evaluate(评价) and prototype(原型) with the MMC3416PJ three axis(轴) magnetic(地磁的) sensor. The magnetic sensor and passive components(成分) needed for operations are SMT mounted on the board. Communication, power and ground pins of the MMC3416PJ SMT device(装置) are brought out to standard 0.10 inch on center connections on the sides of the board. Wires can be soldered directly to the board or DIP pins can be used with widely available breadboard(擀面板) kits.
