描述 Description

The uP1651R is a VR12.5 compliant PWM controller thatsurpports 1/2/3/4-phase operation. This device integrates3 MOSFET gate drivers with embedded bootstrap diode,and provides 1 PWM output to support 4 phase operation.To comply with VR12.5 specification, the uP1651Raccurately reports output current and VR temperature.

The uP1651R provides programmable 1/2/3/4 phaseoperation. uP1651R integrates 3 bootstrapped drivers thatsupport 12V + 12V driving capability. 1/2/3/4 phaseoperation is enabled by a logic level ISENx output,achieving optimal balance between cost and flexibility.

The uP1651R supports automatic phase adding/droppingthat is activated by PSI command from SVID or H/W PSIsetting. The uP1651R operates in diode emulation modeat extreme light load condition, yielding maximumefficiency over entire load current range.

Other features include adjustable soft start, under/overvoltage protection, over current protection and thermalshutdown. The uP1651R is available in VQFN5x5-40L.
