描述 Description

The uP1649Q is a VR12.5 compliant CPU power controllersupports up to 4 phases. The integrated I2C interfaceprogrammability makes the uP1649Q high performanceand easy design. Designer can define different powerscenario for different current states to optimize theperformance and efficiency.

The uP1649Q combines true differential voltage sensing,differential inductor DCR current sensing, input voltagefeed-forward and adaptive voltage positioning to provideaccurately regulated power for desktop CPUs. It adoptsuPI proprietary RCOTTM (Robust Constant On-Time)topology to have fast transient response and smooth modetransition. Similar to digital based PWM controller, the loopgain is also programmable by I2C interface to achievedesign flexibility.

The uP1649Q provides VR_READY indicator. It alsofeatures complete fault protection functions including overvoltage, under voltage, over current, over temperature andunder voltage lockout. The uP1649Q is available inVQFN5X5 - 40L package.
