描述 Description

The SCH5636 is a 3.3VPC 2001 compliant Super I/O controller with an LPC interface. All legacydrivers used for Super I/O components are supported, making this interfacetransparent to the supporting software. The LPC bus also supports powermanagement, such as wake-up and sleep modes.This device providestemperature monitoring with auto fan control and can monitor up to threeexternal diodes, one internal ambient temperature sensor or retrievingtemperatures from external processors that implement the PECI (PlatformEnvironmental Control Interface). Glue Logic includesvarious power management logic including, generation of RSMRST# and PowerOK signal generation. A floppy disk controller with SMSC's true CMOS 765B coreand enhanced digital data separator provides 100% compatibility with IBM PC/XTand PC/AT architectures, and is software- and register- compatible withSMSC's proprietary 82077AA core. Family partsSCH5636-NS
