描述 Description

TheSCH3106 is a 3.3V (Super I/O Block is 5V tolerant) PC99/PC2001 compliantSuper I/O controller with an LPC interface as well as Hardware Monitoringcapabilities, enhanced Security features, Power Control logic andMotherboard Glue logic. Itincorporates complete legacy Super I/O functionality, including a floppydisk controller with SMSC's true CMOS 765B core and enhanced digitaldata separator. The true CMOS 765B core provides 100% compatibility withIBM PC/XTTM and PC/ATTM architectures and is softwareand register compatible with SMSC's proprietary 82077AA core. Thehardware monitoring capability includes temperature, voltage and fan speedmonitoring. It can alert the system of out-of-limit conditions andautomatically control the speeds of multiple fans and includes support formonitoring two external temperatures via thermal diode inputs and aninternal sensor for measuring ambient temperature.
