The BCM7206 is a high-definition System-on-a-Chip (SoC) solution supporting the essential features of cost-optimized satellite, cable and IP set-top boxes. The BCM7206 is an advanced multiformat decoder that allows manufacturers to build single- and multiple-room IPTV devices. It allows manufactures to deliver the next generation of performance and feature optimized hybrid cable, terrestrial and digital subscriber line (DSL) IP set-top-box products for the connected digital home. The BCM7206 offers a streamlined feature set targeting single, multiformat high-definition decode, including support for China's audio/video standard (AVS).
