The StrataXGS® Trident4-X11C series is a family of Ethernet switches designed to address performance, capacity, and security requirements for next-generation enterprise core network switches. Broadcom’s Trident4-X11C is the industry’s first core-scale switch ASIC able to precisely identify individual connections that fit a defined threat profile in traffic mixes from tens of thousands of users. In addition, the number of virtual ports has been increased to enable the design of high-density chassis switches with hundreds of downlinks. The ground-breaking Trident4-X11C will catalyze the development of enterprise core switches capable of playing a central role in the detection and mitigation of malicious attacks.
