The RFX8422S is a fully integrated, single-chip, single-die RFfront-end integrated circuit (RFeIC®) that incorporates all the RFfunctionality needed for dual-mode WLAN and Bluetooth® signalfunctions including simultaneous WLAN and Bluetooth® signalreceive mode.

The RFX8422S architecture integrates a high-efficiencyhigh-linearity PA, a directional coupler and output powerdetector, impedance matching networks, harmonic filters, aLNA with Bypass and an SP3T antenna switch all in a singleCMOS device.

This RFeIC is designed to be used in the 2.4 GHz band, and canbe powered directly from the battery.

Combining superior performance, ultra-low power consumption,small form factor, and low cost, RFX8422S is the perfectsolution for mobile, handheld, and portable devices withintegrated WLAN and Bluetooth® functions.

The RFX8422S is assembled in the ultra-compact 2.5 x 2.5 x0.45 mm 16L QFN package, and requires minimal externalcomponents and PCB footprint.
