描述 Description

The ET3160 is a low-power Self discharge IC. It detects battery voltage and periphery temperature. When battery voltage and temperature is out of range , the embedded PMOS will turn on to discharge current from battery to protect battery from expansion.

ET3160 detects battery voltage and periphery temperature in sample mode. The sample period is about 10s. Therefore, in worst case the delay from error state to discharge starting is about 10 seconds, and the discharge stopping delay is similar.
