The BCM6710 is a 3x3 IEEE 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 MAP/PHY/Radio system-on-a-chip (SoC) device. The device can operate in 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands selectively. Taking advantage of multiuser technologies such as downlink and uplink OFDMA, the BCM6710 delivers better throughput and reach to consumer devices in a home network. The device can be used in routers, residential gateways, Wi-Fi extenders and set top boxes. By integrating the required power amplifiers (PAs) in the SoC, the BCM6710 is ideal for supporting a cost-effective and small form factor design.
