描述 Description

The ADPL20502® is a boost converter capable ofdelivering a peak inductor current up to 2A with TrueShutdown™, cycle-by-cycle inductor current limit, shortcircuit, and thermal protection. During shutdown, only1nA is drawn from the input pin. The ADPL20502 offersultra-low quiescent current, small total solution size,and operates at a high efficiency throughout the loadand line range. The ADPL20502 is ideal for batterypoweredapplications where long battery life is a mustand high efficiency is required at all power levels.

The ADPL20502 utilizes an adjustable on-time, pulsefrequencymodulation (PFM) control scheme thatconsumes ultra-low quiescent current. The ADPL20502features True Shutdown mode where the outputdisconnects from the input with no forward or reversecurrent.This saves precious energy from the battery forsystems that dynamically turn on and off by having theability to startup into a precharged output capacitor.

The ADPL20502 is offered in a space-saving and costeffective 1.58mm x 0.89mm, 6-bump WLP (3 x 2, 0.4mmpitch) and 8-pin, 2mm x 2mm TDFN packages. Theoperating temperature range is from -40°C to +125°C.
