描述 Description

The Cermetek XE5692H is a complete, globalmodem in a compact, surface-mount module. It covers less than half the boardspace of the leading competitor and is less than half as thick as well. 
Cermetek includes user transferable FCC Part 68 registrationwith every modem module. This allows the system designer to add a modem to aprocess control, remote monitoring, point-of-sale, or remote diagnostic systemwithout Part 68 certification.
Only Cermetek offers embedded modems in leadless,surface-mount form.  As a result,the XE5692H is not only substantially smaller than the competition but thesurface-mount package frees additional space on the bottom of the applicationboard for routing traces or placing components. This space efficient design allowsthe development engineer greater flexibility in placement of the modem withinthe host system.
