描述 Description

The uP8803 is a 2A ultra low dropout linear regulatorspecifically designed for motherboard, notebook and graphiccard applications. This device works with dual supplies, acontrol input for the control circuitry and a power input aslow as 1.2V for providing current to output. The uP8803delivers high-current and ultra-low-drop output voltage aslow as 0.8V for applications where VOUT is very close toVIN.

The uP8803 features comprehensive control and protectionfunctions: a power on reset (POR) circuit for monitoringboth control and power inputs for proper operation; an ENinput for enabling or disabling the device, a power OK withtime delay for indicating the output voltage status, afoldback current limit function, and a thermal shutdownfunction.

The uP8803 is available in PSOP - 8L or WDFN3x3 - 10Lpackages with very low thermal resistance.
