The UBA2213 family of integrated circuits are a range of high voltage monolithic ICs for driving Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) in half-bridge configurations. The family is specifically designed to provide easy integration of lamp loads across a range of burner power and mains voltages.

Integrated half bridge switches suitable for 220 V mains applications
UBA2213A: Half bridge switches of 13.5 Ohm for ignition current up to 0.9 A and up to 11 W lamp power
UBA2213B: Half bridge switches of 9 Ohm for ignition current up to 1.35 A and up to 18 W lamp power
UBA2213C: Half bridge switches of 6.6 Ohm for ignition current up to 1.85 A and up to 23 W lamp power
Current controlled preheat with adjustable preheat time and preheat current
Boost with externally controlled timing
Lamp inductor saturation protection during ignition
Lamp power independent from mains voltage variations
Overtemperature protection
Same controller functionality ensuring power scaling on a complete range of CFLs
Pin-compatible with UBA2211 family
System shutdown at burner end of life
