描述 Description

The SMT172-SOT223 is an ultra-low power, high precision temperature sensor in 3 pin SOT-223 package. It combines ease of use with world's leading performance over wide temperature range. Using most recent advances in silicon temperature sensing technology, the SMT172 has applied some really sophisticated IC design techniques as well as high precision calibration methods to achieve an absolute inaccuracy of less than ±0.1°C in range of -20°C to 60°C. The high speed conversion over 4000 outputs per second (at room temperature) and an extremely low noise makes this sensor most energy efficient temperature sensor in world (0.36µJ/measurement). The SMT172 has PWM output signal where duty cycle is proportional to measured temperature. This makes it possible that sensor can directly interface to a MCU without using an ADC.
