描述 Description

The SKY12236-11 is a voltage-controlled variable attenuator fromSkyworks series of high 3rd Order Input Intercept Point (IIP3)components. The device has been designed to operate over the2.6 to 5.0 GHz frequency band, but is specifically optimized foruse as a wide dynamic range, low distortion attenuator.

The SKY12236-11 provides monotonic attenuation performanceover its entire control voltage range. This attenuator is comprisedof a pair of matched PIN diodes that terminate two ports of itsinternal 90-degree hybrid coupler. The diodes are biased using anexternal control voltage signal. The attenuator requires noexternal components. It operates with a control voltage range of 0to 5 V and a 1.7 mA typical control current at maximumattenuation.
