INTRODUCTION

Bulk Metal® Foil (BMF) technology outperforms all other resistor technologies available today for applications that require high precision and high stability. This technology has been pioneered and developed by VISHAY, and products based on this technology are the most suitable for a wide range of applications. BMF technology allows us to  produce customer orientated products, designed to satisfy challenging and specific technical requirements.

•Temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR): - 55 °C to + 125 °C, 25 °C ref.

  −S102C series: ± 2 ppm/°C typical (see table 1)

  −S102K series: ± 1 ppm/°C typical (see table 1)

•Rated power: to 1 W at + 125 °C

•Tolerance: ± 0.005

•Load life stability: to ± 0.005 at 70 °C, 2000 h at rated power

•Resistance range: 0.5 Ω to 1 MΩ(higher or lower values of resistance are available)

•Electrostatic discharge above 25 000 V

•Non inductive, non capacitive design

•Rise time: 1 ns without ringing
