描述 Description

The PD70288 IdealBridge™ (IDB) is a dual active diode bridge designed to support Types 1, 2, 3, and 4 Powered Devices (PD) and it is a mandatory part of the PD application, as defined by the IEEE® 802.3af/at/bt standards. The PD70288 device has internal N-channel MOSFETs that support a 100V maximum voltage rating. The MOSFETs have a very low total path resistance of 140 mΩ (typical) for high overall efficiency and higher output power, which is particularly important when used in Type 3 and Type 4 PD applications. Through a control input, the PD70288 device can be used as a high efficiency IDB or as a standard diode bridge.The PD70288 device can be used in applications designed for up to 6 kV ITU-T Criteria A differential and common mode surges with external surge protection components. The PD70288 device has a Wall Adapter enable pin that can be used to disable the IDB, allowing support of both PoE or Wall Adapter powered applications.The device is RoHS compliant, MSL3, and packaged in a 8 mm × 8 mm 38 lead package. Ambient temperature range is −40 °C to 85 °C.
