描述 Description

The MPQ70166FS-AEC1 is a power management IC (PMIC) designed to operate from 5V buses to power a variety of advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) systems-on-chip (SOCs).

Six integrated buck converters power a variety of target rails. Constant-frequency peak current mode control offers fast transient performance with a stable frequency. A 2MHz fixed switching frequency (fSW) during continuous conduction mode (CCM) greatly reduces external inductor and capacitor requirements. Full protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown.

Integrated functional safety features help achieve an ASIL-B system rating. The failsafe state machine manages fault handling and controls the safety outputs. Built-in self-testing (BIST) is dedicated to performing self-check diagnostics on critical analog and logic functions.

A configurable watchdog is implemented in the MPQ70166FS-AEC1 with window and Q&A modes. The PMBus interface with packet error checking (PEC) and an integrated multi-page one-time programmable (MOTP) memory enables a high degree of configurability.

The MPQ70166FS-AEC1 is available in QFN-32 (5mmx5mm) package, and is available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1.
