Overview The MPC180 is a low-cost, easily integrated addition to any networking or computing system supporting Our integrated communicationsprocessors.The MPC180 Security Processor is designed to enhance system performance by executing computationally intense operations associated with the processing of IP Security Protocol (IPSEC), Internet Key Exchange (IKE), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Wireless Transport Layer Security (WTLS) protocols used in Broadband Access, Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), Routers, WAP Gateways and other Access applications.

- RSA signature time of 32ms supporting 10 IKE handshakes per second.
- Elliptic Curve cryptography signature time of 11ms supporting 30 IKE hand-
shakes per second.

- VxWorks drivers.

- SBC8260C development board and board support package from WindRiver.
