描述 Description

The MP4201 integrates a synchronous, four-switch N-channel MOSFET driver that supports GaN with a bidirectional buck-boost controller capable of regulating different output voltages with a wide input voltage (VIN) range and high efficiency.

It provides an I2C interface with a one-time programmable (OTP) memory, which supports a configurable output voltage (VOUT), VOUT slew-rate control, and a configurable input and output constant current limit. This makes the MP4201 suitable for USB Standard Power Range (SPR) and Extended Power Range (EPR) Power Delivery (PD) designs and high-power systems.

The MP4201 allows selection between forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM) and automatic pulse-frequency modulation (PFM)/pulse-width modulation (PWM). It also offers battery charging control and a configurable switching frequency (fSW) with frequency spread spectrum (FSS), which supports flexible designs for different applications.

The MP4201 integrates a battery charge cycle control with accurate battery voltage regulation, integrated pre-charge, constant-current (CC) and constant-voltage (CV) charging, termination charge detection, and status indication. The MP4201 also features configurable input current (IIN) and output current (IOUT) over-current protection (OCP), a configurable VIN regulation threshold to protect the power supply, and thermal shutdown.

The MP4201 is available in a QFN-32 (5mmx6mm) package.
