General Description

The MP1015is a Power IC that offers a true complete solution for driving a ColdCathode Fluorescent Lamps(CCFL). This Power IC converts unregulatedDC voltage to anearly pure

sine wave required to igniteand operate the CCFL. Based on proprietary power topologyand control techniques (patented), it greatly increases the power conversion efficiency. The MP1015 can be usedwith analog or burstmodedimming without any additional external components. The MP1015 offers fourdistinct performance advantages:
