DESCRIPTION

The MC34063A is a monolithic control circuit containing the primary functions required for DC-to-DC converters.

The device consists of an internal temperature compen sated reference, comparator, controlled duty cycle oscill

ator with an active current limit circuit, driver and high current output switch. MC34063Ais specifically designed

to be incorporated in Step-Down, Step-Up and Voltage Inverting applications with a minimum number of extern

al components.
