Introducing the industry's lowest power, highest performance 17x17 crosspoint switch with input equalization The M21111, designed for today's demanding telecom, datacom, and broadcast video applications, is the industry's lowest power, high-speed 17x17 crosspoint switch with input equalization and built-in system test features. The device typically consumes as low as 1.75 Watts of power with all channels operational, allowing for the removal of heatsink requirements. The PowerScaler™ feature offers dynamically scalable switch settings to further reduce power consumption. With the use of the SmartPower™ feature, unused portions of the core can be automatically turned off without affecting the operation of the remaining channels. In addition, individual input and output buffers can manually be powered down.
