描述 Description

Littelfuse fuse reducers permit a lower-rated fuse to fit in existing equipment that have clips or blocks accommodating a

higher-rated fuse. This prevents over fusing and the need to change the clip or block. It also improves protection by lowering

the circuit to match more closely to the current of the application. Fuse reducers are ideal for applications that require a

temporary reduction of fuse current.

It should be noted that fuse reducers only allow the reducing of fuse ampere rating within a given UL Class and voltage.

Fuse reducers will not allow the change from one UL Class to another. In addition, a fuse reducer will not allow the change

in fuse voltage.

Per UL standards, the Class T fuses are exempt from offering fuse reducers as an option for ampere reduction. The UL

Class L fuses do not require the use of fuse reducers as this Class of fuse share bolt center-to-center dimensioning across

all ampere ratings making the need for reducers unnecessary.
