The Broadcom® HSMx-C19x is a top view surface mount infrared LED that comes in an industrial standard 1.6 x 0.8mm footprint. Its small form factor allows a flexible board design, and this infrared LED can be closely mounted thus offering maximum miniaturization benefits to the user, especially in applications such as portable devices where space is a constraint.This series of product has a wide viewing angle, and it is available in peak wavelength of 850nm or 940nm. This product is suitable for a wide range of applications such as home appliances, smart utility meters, light curtain in industrial automation and smoke detectors. It is compatible with industry standard automatic machine placement and IR reflow soldering.
