描述 Description

The F81213 4T5R transceiver is intended for all EIA-232-E and V.28 communications interfaces, especially in applications where ±12 V is not available. The F81213 features a low power shutdown mode that reduces power dissipation to less than 5μW, ideally suited for battery-powered equipment.(1)     Two receivers of the F81213 remain active during shutdown for ring indicator monitoring or other monitoring functions required. F81213 includes two internal charge pump voltage converters that allow operation from a single 3.3V~5V supply. These parts convert the 5V input power to generate the 2VCC (say norminal ±10 V) supplies required for RS-232 output levels.(1)     The drivers feature true TTL/CMOS input compatibility, slew rate limited output, and 300Ω power off source impedance. The receivers can handle up to ±30 V input, and have a 3kΩ to 7kΩ input impedance. The receivers also feature hysteresis to greatly improve noise rejection.(1)(1)
