The ES9218P SABRE HiFi SoC delivers an audiophile grade output that can deliver 2.0Vrms output, allowing the ES9218P to drive the most demanding headsets and provide a true line-level output to match professional audio equipment. It features an extremely high level of integration allowing it to be integrated into mobile devices without sacrificing audio quality. The heart of the ES9218P ESS’s award-winning SABRE DAC technology, with a HyperStream II modulator. This is the same architecture that is used in the world’s finest audiophile equipment.\r

The ES9218P HiFi SoC leverages the company’s patented 32-bit HyperStream architecture that can support up to 32-bit 384kHz PCM and DSD256 to deliver up to 130 dB SNR and -114 dB Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise (THD+N) ensuring audiophile quality sound all the way to the headphones. It also supports the industry’s most popular high resolution and lossless audio formats including DSD, DoP, FLAC, ALAC, AIFF and WAV. Compressed legacy formats are also supported so the consumer is assured the best possible listening experience.\r

The ES9218P’s integrated SABRE Headphone Amp supports up to 2.0Vrms output with analog gain control to reduce output noise at real-life listening levels. An integrated output switch allows an auxiliary source such as voice to bypass the ES9218P for lowest power consumption in non-HiFi mode.\r
