The DS3000PE series bulk front end power AC-DC supply is designed to fully utilize the current capacity of standard C19/C20 AC inlet distribution connectors. It accepts a wide 90–264 Vac input and provides a main 12 V output plus a 3.3 V standby output. Rated at 3,000 watts when operating from a 208-264 Vac input, the DS3000PE is an 80 Plus Platinum power supply with a high peak conversion efficiency of 94%. Housed in a compact enclosure measuring just 4.15 x 2.78 x 11 inches, the power supply has a power density of 24 watts per cubic inch; six units can fit on a standard 19 inch rack shelf, to provide a total of 18 kilowatts.DS3000PE series power supplies are designed for server, networking, telecom and other redundant power applications. The main 12 V output can deliver up to 250 amps and stays within regulation down to zero load, making it perfect for feeding downstream DC-DC converters in systems that use distributed power architectures (DPA). Active current sharing enables multiple supplies to be paralleled for very high current applications without need of additional components. The DS3000PE power supply is hot pluggable and ideal for fault tolerant, N+1 and N+N redundant applications.This digitally-controlled power supply is PMBus™ compliant. A built-in I2C serial interface allows set-up, monitoring and control to be performed using Artesyn Embedded Technologies' universal PMBus graphical user interface.Universal PMBus GUI Software Package
