Qualcomm CSR8311A12 is a single-chip radio and baseband, Bluetooth (BR/EDR) and Bluetooth Low Energy solution, built to serve a variety of automotive Bluetooth use cases. Full-speed Bluetooth operation with full piconet and scatternet support enables multiple ways to connect to a variety of Bluetooth devices. On-chip SBC encoding with Wideband speech support handles speech applications, while 2Mbps and 3Mbps EDR support enables Bluetooth data use cases. HCI stack firmware to run on-chip on CSR8311A12 is provided by Qualcomm and it is compatible with Qualcomm CSR Synergy Bluetooth stack. Designed to reduce PCB area, Qualcomm CSR8311A12 packs a great deal of value in a 6mm x 6mm x 0.9mm QFN package.

In BR/EDR-only mode it is qualified for Bluetooth 5.2 specification.

In BR/EDR + BLE Dual Mode it is qualified for Bluetooth 4.2 specification.
