描述 Description

System development platform (including associated firmware) featuring a complete octal multimode VDSL2/ADSLx terminal solution that can be used for transport applications such as wirespeed bridging in the access network or Node B backhauling.The BCM96519 compact multi-line digital subscriber line (DSL) terminal solution leverages Broadcom's high performance multi-mode ADSL2+/VDSL2, and vectoring and channel bonding technologies to increase the capacity of Ethernet connectivity over copper with rates approaching 1 Gb/s speed. The BCM96519 reference design is based upon the Broadcom BCM6519 octal digital transceiver and the Broadcom BCM6529 dual analog front end companion chip. The BCM96519 easily connects to Broadcom's widely deployed BladeRunner™ family of high performance DSL central office and Fiber-to-the-Node, Fiber-to-the-Curb or Fiber-to-the-Building chipsets.

• Supports a high precision and innovative network timing recovery subsystem for carrier grade voice transmission and other timing sensitive applications to share the same backhaul links together with mobile broadband data and video transmission
