描述 Description

Engaged in High Speed I/O solution and storage application development, ASMedia Technology is committed to enlarging product portfolio with introducing SATA 6Gbps Port Multiplier products.

ASM1092R is Serial ATA RAID port multiplier controller, supporting one host ports and two devices ports, enabling Serial ATA PHY up to 6Gbps high speed interface, following Serial ATA Revision 3.0 Specification. It is used for SATA port expansion and performance aggregation.

ASM1092R is uses ASMedia first generation proprietary Hydra technology, supporting RAID0 (Strip), RAID1 (Mirror), JBOD and Span (BIG) with low power and high efficient RAID operation, easy configurable scheme through GUI, completely the free loading for the system CPU.

ASM1092R is useful for SATA port expansion and performance booster, not only for internal system but also for external storage application.
