描述 Description

The A1699 is an optimized Hall-effect integrated circuit (IC)that provides a user-friendly solution for direction detectionand true zero-speed, digital ring-magnet sensing. The smallpackage can be easily assembled and used in conjunction witha wide variety of target sensing applications.

The IC employs patented algorithms for the special operationalrequirements of automotive transmission applications. Thespeed and direction of the target are communicated through avariable pulse-width output protocol. The A1699 is particularlyadept at handling vibration without sacrificing maximum airgap capability or creating any erroneous direction information.The advanced vibration detection algorithm will systematicallycalibrate the sensor IC on the initial magnetic poles of truetarget rotation and not on vibration, always guaranteeing anaccurate signal in running mode.

Advanced signal processing and innovative algorithms makethe A1699 an ideal solution for a wide range of speed- anddirection-sensing needs.

The A1699 is provided in a 2-pin miniature SIP packagesuffix UB) that is lead (Pb) free, with tin leadframe plating.The UB package includes an IC and capacitor integrated into asingle overmolded package to reduce external EMI protectionrequirements.
