¡@BesideallthegoodiesintheCM6800,itisdesignedtomeet theEPA/85+ regulation.Withtheproperdesign,itsefficiency of powersupplycaneasily approach85%.

To start evaluating CM6802SAH/SBH from the exiting CM6800, CM6800A,orML4800board,6things needto be taken care beforedoingthefinetune:

1.)  ChangeRACresistor (on pin2,IAC)fromtheold value to  ahigherresistorvalue between4.7  Mega ohm to 8Megaohm.Startwith6MegaohmforRAC first.

2.)  Change RTCTpin(pin7)fromtheexistingvalue to RT=5.88K  ohm   and   CT=1000pF    tohave fpfc=67Khz,     fpwm=67Khz,  frtct=268Khz   for CM6802SAH and    fpfc=67Khz,  fpwm=134Khz, frtct=268KhzforCM6802SBH

3.)  Adjust allhighvoltageresistoraround5megaohmor higher.

4.)  VRMSpin(pin 4)needsto be1.14VatVIN=80VAC

for universal input  application from line input from

80VACto270VAC.BothpolesfortheVrmsofthe CM6802SAH/SBHneedstosubstantiallyslowthan CM6800about5to10times.

5.)  Atfullload,theaverageVeaoneedstoaround4.5V
