manufacturerandexporterinTaiwanforceramicdielectricpowdersandmultiple-layer

ceramicchipcapacitors(MLCCs).It’sformerparentcompany,TaiwanCementCorporation

(TCC)arrangedonSeptember2005withWalsinTechnologyCorporation(WTC)forPDCto

jointheWTCgroupasanalliedcompany.

PDChasavasttechnologicalbasewhichhasbeenaccumulatedandexpandedsince1983,

whenTCCestablishedanin-houselaboratorynamedtheFineCeramicDevelopmentCenter

tostudyalltheprospectsregardingthefineceramicsfield.TheCentereventually

suggestedbuildingupacompanyandmovedalltheresourcesintothiscompany.Through

integrationwithexternalexpertsPDChasbeensucceedingindevelopingaseriesof

advancedceramicproducts.Inordertoprovidepackagedeliverypercustomer

orientation,PDCaddedchipresistorstotheproductlinein1995.Thecompanyhasbeen

enjoyingagoodreputationasaresult.

ThecorecompetencyofPDCliesinthestrongmaterialcapabilityinthefieldof

dielectricswhichhasbeenthefoundationforservingcompleteproductlinesof
