VW2002 MPEG-1,-2,-4 A/V Decoder chip. The VW2002 is an integrated audio and video
decompression chip. The VW2002 has on-chip demultiplexer and a full-features graphic On-
Screen-Display (OSD) unit.
VW2005 MPEG-1, -2, -4 & H.263 A/V Encoder Chip. The VW2005 is a real time MPEG-1,-2,-4
audio/video encoder chip that fully complies with the MPEG and H.263 standards. The
VW2005 accepts uncompressed ITU-R.BT-656 video and I2S audio, compresses the video into
MPEG-1,-2,-4 or H.263 format, compress the audio into MPEG-1 Layer I, Layer II, MP3,
AAC or AC-3 audio format, and outputs them as transport stream for network applications
or program stream for storage application.
VW2010 MPEG-1, -2, -4 & H.263 A/V CODEC. The VW2010 is a real time MPEG-1,-2,-4
audio/video CODEC chip (simultaneous compression/ decompression, or encode/decode) that
fully complies with the MPEG and H.263 standards. The VW2010 accepts uncompressed ITU-
R.BT-656 video and I2S audio, compresses the video into MPEG-1,-2,-4 or H.263 format,
compress the audio into MPEG-1 Layer I, Layer II, MP3, AAC or AC-3 audio format, and
outputs them as transport stream for network applications or program stream for storage
application. In addition, the VW2010 accepts an MPEG bitstream input and output ITU-
R.BT-656 video. It also accepts an MPEG-1 Layer I, II or III, AAC or AC-3 audio
bitstream input, and output audio through S, S/P-DIFor IEC-61937. The VW2010 also
suports the encoding and decoding of G.711, G.723.1, G.726 and G.729 audio.
